concert experience II: twenty one pilots

August 2nd, 2016.

the day it happened.

i was in the same room as tyler robert joseph and joshua william dun.

it seems like yesterday, yet it was over two months ago.

it all started whenever me and my dad parked in the parking garage and walked to the nearest restaurant, hard rock cafe. in there, there were so many clique members. I felt right at home. we walked back to the venue and stood at the front of the line for 2 1/2 hours. we didn't have pit tickets, but we wanted to hurry up so we could see the opening acts. we got in our seats, and we watched chef's special and mutemath play. right before twenty one pilots came on stage, i went to go see my somewhat distant family member, Theo. Hes my fav, and we both like twenty one pilots so hoorah
and oh god whenever twenty one pilots played i was screaming like a madman in a blender. i have videos and oh god
seriously
oh god
but i did see my favorite song live, hometown. I have the whole thing on video, every second of it. i was so happy. during that time, it wasn't the best time for my emotions. after the concert everything felt better. in place, right, even.
here are my favorite things i've cherished since the concert, and that was the best actual day of my life.

My Concert Experience

June 1, 2016- the day

we were over at Al's house really early then headed out later. we got to the venue around 6pm, and the doors opened at 6:30pm I think?? There were so many aesthetic/tumblr/baddie/hipster/emo ppl there, and i blended in reeealy good tbh. we headed in and got really nice seats, cuz we pushed our way to the front where there was an open space. we technically not supposed to be there, but the security dude who looked like snoop dog was cool and let us stay there. (insert photo of where the stage was vs. where we were)

so when the concert started, Kevin Abstract came out and performed, and we were all confused because we forgot that there were two opening acts. no, but seriously, Kevs was really cool and his performance was bomb af. He was obsessing over Zach Abels during his performance, and I was freaking out because I realized that I might get a chance to be sooo close to Zeeko.

Then, Jakhoy came on stage and he was lit too, and we were all pumped for the main act.

Whenever the nbhd came on stage, my phone died, so i barely got any pictures, which i guess was okay.

THEN THESE TWO GIRLS WHO WERE AS TALL AS SHAQUILE ONEAL WENT IN FRONT OF MY TWO BEST FRIENDS AND WE WERE MOCKING THEM AND THEY WERE JUST ANNOYING AF I WAS SO MAD THO

anyways,

Jesse came towards where our little group was and he made eye contact with me and I think my stomach exploded lmao but seriously he sang to us and it was adorable

The concert was shorter than most of theirs, but I'm pretty sure that jesse had a sore throat or something bc after every song he went to get a huge drink of his water bottle but its okay

All of us were closest to zeeko which was amazing bc he was so much cuter in person sos

whenever we left the actual venue, we went to the gift shop and we saw Kevs there so he singed my shoe and arm and i was screaming inside even though i barely knew him lmao

his music is really good tho, im obsessed now

we took some pictures and then headed home and passed out, my throat hurt and we all had headaches bc we were closest to the speaker but its okay it was lit

i got a hat and tshirt so thats cool ig and it wAS HELLA EXPENSIVE OMFG

did you ever realize how weird we are? like, if aliens came down to earth, how would we explain to them that every week or so, these things on our nails grow longer and we cut them and it doesnt even hurt? and how we digest food then the leftovers just- plops out? and how we have a substance running through our body that is red and keeps us alive?? how we drive around in these metal capsules fueled by ancient plants and mini sea animals? we are the weird ones.

im actually healthy for once

so a few days ago i realized how important it is to be healthy and happy with your mind, body, and emotions, and i decided to do something with my life, which was not as healthy as i wished i was.

so i changed that

i forced myself into a postitive mindset, thanks to the help of hailey sani. honestly her youtube videos are so inspirational and ugh i love them

I was sitting outside the bench at school, listening to music, of course. I heard a voice behind patrick stump's heavenly voice. "Mack? Hellooo? MACK!" someone yelled. I was startled as to where my headphones flew off my head, but rested on my neck.It was Kiersten, one of my old friend. Lots of bs between us.

"What do you want this time, Kier," i sighed as i paused the music.
"There is a party at Keith's place," ah, Keith. Kier's old boyfriend that has been chasing her for years on end. "and he wanted me to invite you or whatever." she stared as she chewed her gum loud and obnoxiously. 
"When will it be? I have a few concerts coming up, like muse is coming to LA this Mon-"
"Tonight," she spat. "So are you coming or what?"
"Uh- sure i guess."
"starts at 11, bring your own music," she started towards her car, probably more expensive than my house and everything in it.

I grabbed my backpack, slouched it over my shoulder, and headed home. Right as I opened the door, there were 2 pitbulls to come and tackle me. My stepdad was here, hence the dogs. I heard my mom yelling at him. More drama. I headed up the stairs, locked my door, and plotted out the party, my plans for that night- or morning, per say.

11:15- show up
11:15 to 11:45- grab a drink and scavenge for aquaitences
11:45 to 12:15- talk to random people
12:30- give "dj" my mixtape i made
1:45- get home before mom catches me

luckily, Christopher was going, and at least i wouldn't be a lonely hermit with a fire mixtape. I headed over to his house, the cd in my hand, and helped him choose what to wear. We went over his game plan, and i gave him a talk about if he didn't want people to know he was gay, he can't flirt with the same gender. we climbed out the window and started past a few backyards.

I AM A PRODUCTIVE WOMAN

okay, so the past few days i have been on spring break, and its amazing how lazy a person can be. But TODAY i actually did human stuff and yay so heres what i did

I actually updated my google+ profile because i realized that OVER 2K PEOPLE HAVE VIEWED IT WHAT EVEN HOW NOT EVEN I DONT EVEN KNOW FIVE PEOPLE HELP so i updated it from my cheesy girly blog to this one so that happened

Editing pictures is more of a hobby than a job i'd say, but i treat it just the same so that has been happening recently. I have a collection on my google+ or whatever full of edits so yeash

I went outside, bought clothes, and wore them wow viv so productive yeah GOT THAT RIGHT I HAVE SHORTS YALL but they dont suit dress code, but do i really care, not one single bit.

Currently brainstorming on how i am going to write a concerned letter to my school's superintendent to change the school dress code because tbh it is up to the parents, right? its not like im gonna wear thong shorts with my butt hanging out right?

Reality

I walk out the door, into my car, to his house. Him. The most handsome gentleman a woman could ever want. And he’s mine. And I’m his. I look in the rear-view mirror. Staring at my eyes. There was not much traffic in Chicago today, which is weird. I pull into the coffee shop, and buy a coffee- salted caramel macchiato. His favorite. I say bye to Mae, my favorite barista, and head out the door. Fifteen minutes more of driving ahead of me.

Pulling into the driveway, I take a sneaky sip of the still-warm coffee I got him. I knock on the door to see his mom yelling at her husband.

He rushes me to his room where we climb out the window, onto the roof, the coffee in his hand. We stargazed until midnight where we just talked about nothing and everything, problems, and feelings. I loved him so much, and I was glad to call him mine. He wrapped his warm jacket around me and leaned in to put his arm around my waist. I nuzzle my head into his shoulder, broad and muscular. He tells me, “god, i’m so in love with you. I never want to leave your side, and I will never let you be alone, sad, mad, or frustrated. I’ve got you.”

“I love you.”

Then I woke up.

Lately

Did i ever tell you I like to do SFX makeup? I was cleaning my bathroom when I realized I still had some leftover liquid latex and blood from Halloween (I'm pretty sure it was expired but oh well)then decided to get some hot glue and make a mold and started bloodifying myself ahaha im funny

I find it funny that everyone is like OHMYGOD I DONT HAVE A DATE [even though that is me] but its just a casual dance, but i do have to admit that I would love if my crushes asked me but they never realized that but oh well im fine :)

Food

Hour 0

I was in my bedroom last summer when she came. Alex opened my window, looked around, and sat on the end of my bed. I covered my naked chest with my blanket, curious of what she was up to this time. "Adrian," she whispered, "come with me. We can be free."
" What? I barely even know you," I hissed, as I hate when people interrupt my 'hibernation', "and what are you doing in my room anyway? It's four in the morning!"
"Please Ade. Trust me." only my friends call me Ade, weird.
"Fine. Where are we going this time," this wasn't the first time she came into my house, uninvited before dawn, "New York? California? Orlando? Howabo-"
"Houston," she interrupted.
"Houston? Do you know how far that is from Portland? It's about," I thought real hard to calculate the distance, "two days! Without stops!"
"Then we better get going," She threw a shirt at me that was on my floor. There was something about her persuasive, forceful attitude that I admired. I grabbed my backpack, stuffed some clothes, money, and some chargers and my laptop. We hopped out the window, and cheeped over to her car.

Hour 1

We hit the road, stopping for gas at the BP around the corner. She didn't put on any music, so we just sat in silence. There was something about her presence that just gave me a warm feeling inside. I remembered that we bought energy drinks at the gas station, so I opened a Monster and took a huge gulp. We would need tons of these to get us through the trip. I immediately got a caffeine "high" and couldn't stop tapping my foot. Ah, the joy of annoying, repeated noise.

Hour 5

Silence. Pure, cold, silence. I told her that we should just turn back,  My parents will probably be so mad and disappointed in me, which was probably the caffeine talking. Even more silent. Until she broke the unbearable void of it. "Stay, you're not gonna leave me. This place is right where you need to be, and why your words gotta mean so much to them and mean nothing to me." I didn't even know she loved Eden- one of the best songwriters out there. And back to silence it was. She pulled into Shell, and filled up while I got some food for us: Red Bull and Doritos. She didn't seem to care, though.

Hour ??

I don't remember a thing. She woke me up, and we were at the Hilton hotel, about to get a room. I was on the couch in the lobby, while she was at the desk, handing over some cash. I ran to stop her so I could pay, but when I touched her, she disintegrated into thin air, everything around me started to melt, and so did I.

I woke up.

Just a dream.

I loved her.

I will always love her.

5 things you should know about today's best blogger (aka me hahaha jk)

Okay, so many of you do not know of the magical world of viv that I experience every single day of my life, so here is 5 facts about *dramatic hair flip* me that you should probably know before you read any of my posts.

1. I really, really, really like music. If you can't already tell, music is a big part of who I am. I have at least 3 music subscriptions, many albums on my phone, and sometimes, I fall asleep to music. And sometimes, I don't even go to sleep, just listen to music with my night owl friend, Maddie. From Drake to Fall Out Boy, I feel I have the most widest range of music. Ever. Except for country music. IF YOU LISTEN TO COUNTRY MUSIC WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFEEE??

2. Okay, so I honestly do not care about my body image. IF I WANT FOOD I WILL EAT FOOD IF IM NOT HUNGRY I WILL STILL EAT. Honestly, I don't feel that body image is the thing we should judge people on. To me, first impressions only play little to no part in finding a companion. Personality is key.

3. I have an obsession with being "tumblr", "hipster", and "aesthetic" if you cant already tell. My room, my blog, my clothes all go with the same thing, tumpsethetic (a mix of all three words).

4. this is kind of a boring one, but my favorite colors are blue, white, grey, black, and silver. Very colorful, huh?

5. I am (as you can tell) obsessed with my blog. Blogging kills a lot of free time, and I suggest you take up the hobby if you are as antisocial as me. If you do, put the web address in the comments :)

Late Nights (mornings) w/ Maddie

As you may know Maddie from my other post, it is 4am and I convinced her to get a blog so here it is. In other words, I'll walk you through our whole night/morning together.
At midnight is when we decided to bust out the coffee and energy drinks and pull an all-nighter. We played some games like Never Have I Ever and Truth or Dare, as well as go live on younow and have hardcore rap sessions. We hung out with friends, and danced in public places like gas stations. And soon, we plan to walk out to the middle of nowhere and watch the sunrise.
